OK the official results are here. I'm not going to spend much time analysing them and will focus on my age group - Male 35 - 49
The winner did it in 1:34:23 and the last finisher was out of the water in 4:25
I was 36/51 with a time of 3:21
12% finished under 2 hours
25% in 2 1/2 hours
47% in 3 hours
84% in 3 1/2 hours
Women's speeds were slightly faster on average but this is probably due to the category being 20+
