I've never noticed much real benefit from stretching or warming up. I start easy and finish easy and on the majority of days that's fine.
I can't touch my toes. It's been a new years resolution for longer than I can remember. The effort required for marginal improvement means it's on the list again.
So generally I ignore stretching and have a massage when things become too stiff. It also takes less time than stretching. ;)
