T - 94 - Bike - Tuesday

Tuesday was my first set of long hill intervals. 5minute hill climbs at VO2 max repeated 4 times. I decided to use the Penchala Link climbing up from Kg Sg Penchala to the Tol and back again.

Old wheels on the bike and slightly harder gearing so the first time out was a bit of an experiement. Climbing up the slip road onto the PL was hard work and took me well anaerobic. After that the gradient flattened out to a consistent climg through the tunnel. Looking back I think that I slackened off for the last 2 or 3 minutes through the tunnel and I'll have to make more of an effort next time.

Other than that i was quite pleased.
