Friday night I happily had 3 bottles of Tiger and felt a bit flat in the morning. Despite my intention to get everything out of the way early I went running at about lunchtime.
Very hot but enjoyable run down towards TTDI. I used my Garmin Forerunner's training mode to give me a virtual competitor and set it to run at 10km/h pace. Failed to meet that but it was useful in giving me something to focus on over time as that seems to be the speed I need to be doing in the marathon part of the Ironman.
Coming back into DP My left knee felt a bit weak and I struggled up the hill before putting on some speed for home.
