Went for a gentle run with Matt and Tara through the Oxfordshire countryside in hot sun. My forerunner battery died just before setting out but we ran for about 40 minutes and I did 6 sets of strides.
Was almost driven mad by lots of little inects drowning in the sweat running down my upper arms. I kid you not. Yuck.
After a quick shower I borrrowed Matt's Scott mountain bike and headed out on what seemed to be a decent route. The bike was too small, the gearing too low and the insects were all over me. So pedalled in a very high cadence through the ripening grain getting scared by the UK drivers.
